When is the best time to ski in Japan?
Peak powder runs from January to February, with December and March also skiable at higher resorts. Book early — January weekends and the Lunar New Year period sell out fast for both rooms and flights.
I've never skied — is Japan suitable for beginners?
Yes. Niseko and Rusutsu have gentle, well-groomed beginner runs and English-speaking ski schools. We'll point first-timers to the easiest slopes and arrange lessons.
Which resort is best for families with kids?
Niseko and Rusutsu are the usual picks — beginner terrain, kids' ski programmes and easy village access. Tell us your children's ages and we'll advise.
Do you arrange ski gear and lift passes?
Yes — rental gear, lift passes and lessons can all be pre-arranged so you skip the queues on arrival and get straight onto the snow.
How many days should a Japan ski trip be?
Five to seven days works well — enough for three to five ski days plus travel. We can also add Tokyo, Sapporo or an onsen stay on either side.
Do Singapore travellers need a visa for Japan?
Singapore passport holders currently enjoy visa-free short stays in Japan. Entry rules can change, so please check the latest requirements before you travel, and we're happy to point you to official sources.
